At The Lewis Corner, Brooke is creating (and eating!) whole-food plant based recipes that taste delicious, don’t break the budget, and please the whole family. Amidst working, maintaining a fitness regime, eating well, and balancing her pre-med husband’s, and family’s, needs and schedules, Brooke also offers insights on how she keeps herself and her family healthy and well physically, mentally, and emotionally.
In her wellness consultations, Brooke focuses on the person as a whole rather than focusing on one area (such as exercise) and neglecting others (such as stress management, nutrition, social outlets, self-doubt, etc.). By focusing on the whole person, wellness can be achieved at a faster rate, on a larger scale, and will last a lifetime. Areas of mental, emotional, physical, and social health will be addressed.
With this approach to wellness in mind, The Lewis Corner realizes that wellness looks different on everyone. There’s no one-size-fits-all wellness program, just like there’s no one-size-fits-all diet, fitness regime, meditation technique, or lifestyle philosophy.
The Lewis Corner aims to provide a wide variety of overall wellness philosophies, tactics, and recipes that will help benefit those who are seeking wellness in their lives and their family. By providing different angles and personal experience, we hope to enlighten readers to an understanding of what they need most in their lives and how to achieve it.
While there isn’t always a straight answer to every question, we aim to give the most simplistic and thorough information we can provide.
